Becca flaunts wedding ring in Shatta Michy’s face

It was all glamour and smiles at the just ended Glitz awards on Saturday evening at the grand Movenpick Hotel in Accra.

In all the grandiose of the night, some celebrities found ways to seduce the camera to settle on them alone. From oversized shoes to indescribable fashion choices, the Glitz awards again proved that fashion is at its best when uniqueness is displayed in a free setting.

Rebecca Akosua Acheampong, known in Showbiz circles as Becca, quite succeeded in stealing the moment when she accepted the coveted artiste of the year award, presented to her by Shatta Michy.

The big bling on Becca’s finger was either too light to weigh her finger down, or too bright, it just deserved a spot in the moment.

Whatever the reason, the afro-pop queen refused to let her hand rest on the podium while she gracefully swung the bling on her finger, blinding the single baby mama Shatta Michy who stood behind her as though that was her appropriate place in life.

Michy kept her cool and was all smiles for Becca as she kept swinging her hand as many times as she blinked in her acceptance speech.

Apparently, a gorgeous wedding ring can accessorise any dress and make Becca look chic in anything, especially a sleeveless low cut multi-coloured fabric, with a golden bold bow that covered one part of her chest and was a fortunate choice for a new wife who is still hanging between decency and showbiz expectations.

It was all ring ring till she marched off the stage with her next achievement and Shatta Michy could not take her eyes of Becca’s ring. More than the award received, the former dancehall queen would have very much liked to click rings with Becca if her relationship had not ended the way it did.

I visited my doctor who told me that it was an ECO and I saw nothing bad in informing and showing my relatives about such an illness.

As we speak I am not feeling well and many people are wishing me speedy recovery so I do not see the need to apologise to anyone in the community.
