Kuami Eugene Is At The Wrong Place, He Belongs To The Church – Renowned Sound Engineer

There have been a number of instances where secular musicians suddenly “find God” and switch to doing gospel music. Some also suffer from hallucinations induced by a broken heart and start imagining God calling them to spread his gospel through their music – the case of Ofori Amponsah.

What is not very common is to have a gospel musician denounce the church, give up on winning souls and unrepentantly backslide into the world of secular music, churning out hit after hit of “worldly songs”. Interestingly, such is the case of fast-rising young Ghanaian musician, Eugene Marfo, popularly known as Kuami Eugene.

Well, Ghanaian producer turned preacher of God’s word Morris D’Voice formerly known as Morris Baby Face is of the opinion that Kuami Eugene should quit doing secular songs and return to the church because that’s where he was destined to be.

According to Morris who is credited for having produced some of the biggest songs in Ghana’s music history, Kuami Eugene belongs to the church despite the disappointments and pain the church might have caused him years back. The renowned sound engineer shared his sentiments via Facebook that;

“Unbelievers won’t understand!! I don’t know Kwame Eugene. But, God says he belongs to the church and must return.. Before God says something like this, he already knows what’s ahead.

The church may have disappointed him as I’ve heard, but, that’s part of Christianity. trust no man but God.. the same reason I went off track…in the secular world, the “love” was massive.(but was that true love?).people were cheering me on, making money for me, while making money off me and were wishing I would stay there forever..but if I had died, I would have faced judgment alone..

God loves kwame Eugene..

He should come home and stay..

God bless!”

It’s also worthy to note that Kuami Eugene’s recent performance at the just ended “Adom Praiz” triggered Morris’ Facebook post after the budding artiste delivered inspiring gospel tunes when he mounted the stage to the surprise of the audience.

Historically, Kuami Eugene made his debut on the music scene when he participated in the MTN Hitmaker show in 2015. Though he didn’t win the ultimate award, his talent opened a lot of doors for him, eventually landing him a deal with Lynx Entertainment, his current record label. Best known for his hit songs like “Angela” and “Confusion” which can be categorized under secular love songs, Kuami Eugene did not start off as the young love doctor we know him to be.

In his younger years, he was nicknamed the “African Prince of Worship” and had songs like “No Jesus, No Life”, “Heaven”, “Nana Nyame” and others to his glory. Surprisingly, Eugene Marfo (Kuami Eugene) couldn’t stand the disappointments from the church and turned from the pulpit and now, he’s the voice you hear in every nightclub and bar In Ghana regardless.

For a moment we thought we have awoken from the wrong side of bed when we heard Princess Shyngle dishing out these profound advises to women on Instagram.

The curvaceous Gambian actress based in Ghana said sex can never keep a man because a man can only be kept if he wants to be.

Princess also added that cooking for a man, washing for him, impressing his friends and families, among others, can never keep him.

She opined that a lady can only keep a man who wants to be kept and that one’s pretty face or the beautiful body can’t make him stay in a relationship.

In any case, Princess should be the last person talking about this particular subject because that’s exactly the fulcrum around which her persona revolves.

It’s even evidently clear that she injected a bit of sarcasm into her so-called advise which didn’t sit well with most of her followers.
