Musicians Carry Guns Due To Beefs – Edem

Musician, Edem talks about beefs in the industry. According to him, he revealed why certain musicians carry guns to shows. Moreover, he stated it was because they use it for protection because of the many beefs.

He spoke about his displeasure at the current trend of musicians carrying registered guns to shows. Also, Edem noted that such actions have a tendency to escalate into violence in the music industry. He made these statements during an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM

“Now when we go to shows, musicians are strapped with guns. At least a team member has a licensed gun. We shouldn’t wait for something bad to happen before we discourage it. I don’t encourage that because I want to be brothers with everyone”

He further stated that beef doesn’t augur well for unity in the industry.

“We should wake up before something happens in this country”
